Thanks to Salomea Kruszelnicka, “Halka” the opera by Polish composer Stanisław Moniuszko, gained renewed fame. During the walk, we’ll talk not only about the life and career of this remarkable singer, but also about how people fought to preserve Polish culture during the difficult times of foreign rule.
