This is already our fourth walking guide to Warsaw: “Where Can One Pray Here? – The Life of Muslims in Pre-War Warsaw.”
We invite you to a unique tour of the capital that will let you discover its lesser-known side and see the city from an entirely new perspective.
Thanks to this publication, you will follow the traces of the Muslim community that, before World War II, helped shape the fabric of Warsaw. The walk will lead you through the places where their everyday life unfolded: from prayer points to meeting spaces, and to addresses connected with culture, education, and social activity.
The publication was created as part of the project “Historie na styku. Warszawskie spacery tematyczne” carried out by Fundacja Inicjatywa Dom Otwarty, funded by Muzeum Historii Polski in Warsaw under the program „Patriotyzm Jutra”.
